Adventure Laos – 11 days

Upon your arrival in Luang Prabang, you will receive the warmest welcome from our guide and driver at the airport before we transfer you to the hotel for check-in. The welcome dinner will be held at a local restaurant where you can get the first taste of your Laos visit, literally.

After having breakfast and explore the city in the morning, we head for the magnificent Kuang Si falls in the afternoon where you can spend some time to cool off and relax in the natural turquoise pools under the refreshing shadow of the surrounding jungle. Stop by the local bears’ conservation center just by the entrance gate for a peek at Lao wildlife.

Afterward, have a leisurely walk to the nearby Ban Thapene, a Khmu village that lies nestled around some of the most beautiful pools of Tad Kuang Si before we drive you back to Luang Prabang.

Today, embark on a poetic boat trip along the Mekong River that takes you to some of the most famous attractions in Laos. The first stop of your boat excursion is the famous and mysterious caves of Pak Ou. The caves contain thousands of Buddha images of all styles and sizes brought inside by people from many generations.

After that, visit the cultural village of Muangkeo Village where you can watch the local people make Laos whiskey and get an authentic taste of this exotic drink if you like. On the way back to Luang Prabang, stop by Ban Sang Khong where you can witness the process of making hand weaving and mulberry’s paper.

Get ready for a day full of authentic experiences as we depart from Luang Prabang to Ban Xieng Lome village in the morning. Start trekking 4 km to Ban Houay Fai – a Khamu tribal village. The journey takes you through the jungle, rubber plantation, and rice fields that are typical of Laos rural landscape… Picnic lunch will be held along the way.

After that, arrive at Ban Houay Fai to visit and meet local people. After the visit, continue the trek back to Ban Xieng Lome and this time you get the chance to cool off in Nam Khan river.
You are back at Ban Xieng Lome in the early afternoon. Our guide will introduce you to the local families with whom you will stay overnight.

Today is filled with fun and meaningful activities that help you engage with local people. After having a delicious breakfast, our guide and driver will take you to a local primary school to take part in social activities such as:
– Teaching English – playing games – singing an easy song

In the early morning, take a private van from Ban Xieng Lome to Vang Vieng where you can enjoy the time in Laos like a true explorer. Upon arrival, be welcomed by our guide and transferred to the hotel for check-in.

In the morning, our guide and driver take you to the Khmu village of Vieng Samay to enjoy a day of fun activities to cool off. After learning the basics of kayaking, enjoy what the Nam Song River has to offer by conquering various small but fun rapids on the way to the first stop at the cave of Tham Nam Thaem. The cave cuts straight through the mountain and offers a panoramic view of the Nam Kouang valley.

During a trek back over a small pass, enjoy a Lao style picnic lunch on the riverside. After that, visit the Tham Non Cave which lies further downstream and admire the biggest cave in Vang Vieng. It used to be a rescue shelter for the villagers during the Second Indochina War but now is home to a bat colony and ‘The Magic Stone of Vang Vieng’. Then have a gentle paddle before returning to Vang Vieng just in time to catch the beautiful sunset.

Today, enjoy a full day of rock climbing from 09:00 till 15:00.

Today is the day for daring sports and adrenaline rushes. After breakfast at the hotel, prepare for some exciting activities as this half-day tour offers the true adrenaline kick of the zip-line activities. Leaving Vang Vieng by car in the morning at 9 a.m, travel for 30 minutes eastwards and trek up-hill to the adventure site. After that, have a picnic lunch to refuel before we leave Vang Vieng by car to Vientianne.

A Laos tour cannot be complete without a trip around the capital city of Vientiane. Visit Wat Simuong, the great stupa of That Luang and Patuxay. Then stop by the Central Markets of Talad Sao, Shopping Mall (Vientiane Center)… Finally observing the sunset at Mekong riverside at Chao Anou Park.
